Okinawa main land has beautiful beaches, this post gives you the 5 best beaches must go! 1. Kibougaoka Beach The Kibougaoka Beach is my best beach on Okinawa main island. This beach is located near the Harekurani luxury resort hotel. It takes around 1 hour from Naha international airport. The parking space is only for 5 to 6 cars. To access the beach, go down narrow steps and reach the beach. The beach size is only 100 meters, it is small in size, however, you can find unimaginable views. It is clear water and sky blue color, good to swim on the white sand and calm. And it is not only for swimming but also snorkeling across the rock area. I strongly recommend visiting this beach in the morning time before the parking lot is filled up. It is enough to swim with goggles, but if you want to do snorkeling don't forget a life jacket for your safety. 2. Hetona Beach Hetona beach area has white sand beachs, long line of beach in the area. Okinawa’s dangerous animals

In the sea Okinawa public beach has a caution board to show the dangerous animals on the beach. Check the explanation before enter the water. Sea Snakes The okinawa sea snakes are about 1m long with striped pattern. If bitten, suck out the venom and immediately transport the victim to the hospital. Sea Snakes are not actively attack human, so if you see it, slowly go backward. Box Jelly fish It has a box-shaped bell about 10 cm in diameter and four arms with tentacles on each arm. Do not rub the sting. Rinse the affected area with vinegar to remove tentacles, cold pack or soak in cold water. See doctor immediately in case of serious condition. Stonefish it is about 40 cm long and looks like a rock with brown algae. If stung, soak in about 40-45 degree Celsius (104 to 113 Fahrenheit) It can be found on the coral rock area where the people walk on the rocks at the time of low tide. So it is good to wear marine shoes or sneaker when you stroll on the coral rocks instead of sandals. Long-Spined Sea-Urchin The long-spined sea-urchin has sharp spines of about 20 cm long.
